India Yamaha Motor, a subsidiary of Japan-based Yamaha, has introduced the 2025 edition of its popular FZ-S-Fi Hybrid motorcycle in India. The new model is priced at ₹1,44,800 (ex-showroom) and comes with a range of advanced features designed to enhance performance and rider comfort.
Enhanced Performance and Technology
The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S-Fi Hybrid is powered by a 149cc Blue Core engine, which is now OBD-2B compliant. It incorporates Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop & Start System (SSS), which offer quieter starts, battery-assisted acceleration, and improved fuel efficiency. The Stop & Start System automatically shuts off the engine during idling and restarts it swiftly with a quick clutch action, ensuring better fuel economy.
New TFT Display and Smartphone Connectivity
A significant upgrade in the 2025 model is the 4.2-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster. This display integrates with smartphones through the Y-Connect app, enabling Turn-by-Turn (TBT) navigation powered by Google Maps. Riders can access real-time directions, intersection details, and road names directly on the screen, improving navigation efficiency and convenience.
Comfort and Accessibility Enhancements
Yamaha has also optimized the handlebar position for improved comfort during long rides. Additionally, the handlebar switches have been redesigned to ensure better accessibility, even when wearing gloves. These improvements aim to enhance the overall riding experience.
New Colors and Stylish Look
The 2025 FZ-S-Fi Hybrid is available in two new color options: Racing Blue and Cyan Metallic Grey. These vibrant shades give the motorcycle a sleek and modern appearance, appealing to younger riders and enthusiasts alike.
