The results have been declared for a total of 4,604 posts across various categories. The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in the Assam Police, APRO (Assam Police Radio Organisation), Fire & Emergency Services, and DGCD & CGHG (Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards). The recruitment process is based on a combination of physical tests and a written examination.

The results are for the following posts:
- 1,645 posts of Constable (UB) and 2,300 posts of Constable (AB) in Assam Police as per the advertisement dated October 6, 2023.
- 114 backlog posts of Constable (UB) and 1 backlog post of Constable (AB) for Hills Tribe category in Assam Police.
- 58 posts of Boatman in Assam Police.
- 204 posts of Constable of Police (Communication) and 2 posts of Constable (Carpenter) in APRO.
- 262 posts of Constable of Police (Communication) and 3 posts of Constable (Carpenter) in APRO.
- 1 post of Sub-Officer and 39 posts of Emergency Rescuer under Fire & Emergency Services, Assam.
- 269 posts of Constable (Grade-III) under DGCD & CGHG, Assam.
- 5 posts of Havildar under DGCD & CGHG, Assam.
Written Test Details
Candidates who qualified for the PET round will now have to appear for the written test. The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered on an OMR sheet. Each correct answer will carry 0.5 marks, making the total score 50 marks. The questions will be of the level of Class IX and X. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
