Cricket Australia has officially confirmed India’s white-ball tour of Australia at the end of 2025. The Men in Blue will play a three-match ODI series, starting on October 19 in Perth, followed by a five-match T20I series beginning on October 29, with the final T20I scheduled at The Gabba in Brisbane on November 8.
This tour comes after India’s competitive Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, where Australia clinched a 3-1 series victory. However, India recently got the better of Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final, with Virat Kohli delivering yet another masterclass in chasing.
A Historic Cricket Tour
India’s tour will make history as the first-ever Australian men’s international season to include matches in all eight states and territories. Canberra and Hobart will host India during the T20I series, marking their return to international action.
This will also be the first top-tier men’s cricket in Far North Queensland since 2022 when New Zealand and Zimbabwe played in Cairns and Townsville. Meanwhile, Darwin will witness its first international fixture since hosting Bangladesh in 2008.
