The State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has officially announced the results for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) 2025 for Grade 3 and Grade 4 posts. Recruitment Drive & Examination Details
The ADRE recruitment process aims to fill 5,023 vacancies across various posts. The examination was conducted in two phases:
- Phase 1 (September 15, 2024): Paper-III for HSSLC level posts.
- Phase 2 (September 29, 2024): Paper-IV for bachelor’s degree level posts and Paper-V for HSLC level driver posts.
A total of 8,27,130 candidates appeared for the HSLC level posts examination, held between 9 AM and 11:30 AM across 1,484 centers in Assam. Meanwhile, 5,52,002 candidates applied for the Class 8 qualification-based posts, with the second shift exam conducted from 1:30 PM to 4 PM at 808 centers across the state.
Scoring & Marking Scheme
For the Grade 3 exam, SLRC implemented a negative marking system:
- 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer to a 1-mark question.
- 0.5 marks deducted for each incorrect answer to a 2-mark question.
- Selecting multiple options for a single question resulted in the same penalty.
