Deoria Horror: Man Murdered by Wife and Lover, Stuffed Into Suitcase in Chilling UP Crime

A New Chapter in Uttar Pradesh’s Series of Chilling Crimes

Uttar Pradesh, India, is once again in the spotlight for a brutal murder that has sent shivers across the nation. Just days after the infamous Meerut blue drum murder, another disturbing case has surfaced—this time from Deoria. In this case, a man was killed by his wife and her lover, his body stuffed into a suitcase, and the suitcase was dumped 50 kilometers away in a field.

A Murder Too Familiar—A Repeat of the Meerut Horror

In Meerut, a wife killed her husband and packed his body in a blue plastic drum with the help of her lover. Now, in Deoria’s Tarakulwa area, the eerie familiarity of this pattern has stunned citizens. This time, the victim was 28-year-old Naushad, who had recently returned from Saudi Arabia, where he worked to support his family.

A Sinister Plot—Love Turned Lethal

A Family Betrayal with a Chilling Twist

According to police reports, Naushad’s wife was engaged in an illicit relationship with her own nephew. Upon Naushad’s return to India, he reportedly became a barrier to the affair. The emotional friction escalated to violence when, on Saturday night, the wife and her lover allegedly used a sharp weapon to murder Naushad.

After the killing, they stuffed his body into a suitcase and traveled 50 km before dumping it in a wheat field in the village of Pakdi Chhapar Patkhauli.

Investigation Unfolds—A Wife’s Shocking Confession

The Unraveling Truth

Police recovered the suitcase on Sunday afternoon and quickly launched an investigation. Based on identity documents found in the suitcase, the deceased was identified as Naushad, a resident of Bhatouli village under Mail Police Station.

When authorities began questioning the wife, she broke down and confessed, revealing the illicit relationship with her nephew and the planned murder to remove her husband from the picture.

The Crime Scene and the Aftermath

 A Town in Shock

The murder has left Deoria residents in disbelief. Locals are comparing it to the earlier case in Meerut, with both involving wives killing their husbands and disposing of the bodies in shocking ways. The use of suitcases and plastic drums, both intended to conceal human remains, reflects a horrifying trend that is deeply disturbing for law enforcement and society at large.

SP Vikrant Veer and ASP Arvind Kumar Verma visited the scene. The murder weapon, a sharp object used to kill Naushad, was recovered from the crime site.

Police Action and Ongoing Search for the Accused

While the wife is now in police custody, her lover remains on the run. Police are conducting raids and surveillance operations to locate and arrest him. They believe it is only a matter of time before he is captured.

Love, Deceit, and Death—What Drives Such Crimes?

These chilling cases bring into focus a dangerous mix of infidelity, greed, and emotional instability. A man who returned home after years of hard work abroad was met not with love, but betrayal and death. The shocking twist that the lover is a close family relative, only adds to the tragedy.

Society’s Call for Justice and Reflection

This case, like the one in Meerut, is more than a criminal story—it’s a moral and emotional tragedy. As the investigation continues, people are demanding strict legal punishment and better societal awareness around mental health and domestic relationships.

What pushes individuals to such extreme decisions? Why do people choose violence over communication? These are questions we must continue to ask as more of these unsettling cases emerge.
