HPBOSE Class 12th Result 2025 Declared: Mehak Tops with 97.2%, Over 86,000 Students Appeared

Dharamshala, May 17, 2025: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has officially announced the HPBOSE Class 12th Result 2025 today, May 17. The long-awaited results are now available online at the board’s official website, hpbose.org, and can also be accessed through DigiLocker, SMS, and partner education portals such as education.indianexpress.com.

This year, a total of 86,373 students appeared for the HP Board Class 12 examinations, which were conducted between March 4 and March 29 across multiple centers in the state. Students from all three streams—Science, Commerce, and Arts—can now download their provisional mark sheets using their roll numbers.

Top Performers of 2025:

Leading the merit list is Mehak, a Science stream student from Una district, who scored an impressive 486 out of 500, securing the top spot with 97.2% marks. Close behind is Khushi, from Dhauladhar Public School, Shamnagar, Dharamshala, with 483 marks (96.6%), earning the second position in the state.

How to Check HPBOSE Class 12th Result 2025:

To view or download your result, follow these steps:

  1. Visit hpbose.org
  2. Click on the ‘Result’ tab on the homepage.
  3. Select “Class 12 Result 2025”.
  4. Enter your Roll Number.
  5. Your marksheet will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Verify and download it for future reference.

Please note: The digital copy available online is provisional and only meant for immediate reference. The official hard copy of the mark sheet will be issued by respective schools and must be collected later.

Compartment Exams for Failed Candidates:

Students who fail to meet the minimum qualifying marks in one or more subjects will be eligible for the compartment examinations. The schedule for these supplementary exams will be announced shortly on hpbose.org. Students should keep checking the website for further updates on registration and dates.

Previous Year’s Performance:

In the 2024 academic session, 85,777 students appeared for the HP Board 12th exams, with 63,092 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.76%. This year’s overall performance and pass percentage will be updated soon as the board compiles data across all streams.
