NEET UG 2025 Results Declared: Check Scorecard, Topper List, and Counselling Schedule

New Delhi, June 13, 2025:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 today on its official website neet.nta.nic.in. Over 20 lakh aspirants across India and abroad appeared for the medical entrance examination held on May 5, 2025. Students can now check their individual scorecards by logging in using their application number and date of birth.

This year’s NEET UG witnessed a record number of registrations, with 24.3 lakh candidates applying for the examination, signaling the ever-increasing demand for medical education in the country. The results, which were expected in mid-June, were announced earlier than expected, catching many candidates pleasantly by surprise.

How to Check NEET UG 2025 Result:

  1. Visit the official NEET NTA website: neet.nta.nic.in

  2. Click on the “NEET UG 2025 Result” link

  3. Enter your application number and date of birth

  4. Submit the details and download the scorecard

  5. Take a printout for future reference

NEET UG 2025 Toppers:

The NTA also released the list of top scorers along with the results. This year, Ananya Sharma from Rajasthan secured the All India Rank 1 with a perfect score of 720/720. Close behind were Aditya Raj from Bihar and Pooja Nair from Kerala, each scoring 716/720. The tie-breaking policy based on Biology and Chemistry marks, followed by age and application number, was applied to determine their rankings.

Category-wise Cut-Offs:

The NTA released the qualifying percentile and corresponding score range for each category:

  • General/UR: 50th percentile – 715–117

  • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile – 116–93

  • General-PwD: 45th percentile – 116–105

  • SC/ST/OBC-PwD: 40th percentile – 104–93

These cut-offs are crucial for determining eligibility for the upcoming counselling rounds.

What’s Next: NEET Counselling 2025

Following the result announcement, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to begin the NEET UG 2025 counselling in the first week of July. The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds for All India Quota (AIQ) seats, deemed universities, and central institutes. State counselling bodies will also initiate their respective counselling processes for state-quota seats.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official MCC website mcc.nic.in and their respective state counselling portals for updates and schedules.
