Ekadashi Tithi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the protector of the universe. On this auspicious day, devotees worship Lord Vishnu along with Goddess Lakshmi. The Ekadashi that falls in the month of Phalguna is known as Amalaki Ekadashi and is also referred to as Rangbhari Ekadashi. Amalaki Ekadashi 2025: Date and Shubh Muhurat
According to the Hindu Panchang, the Ekadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Phalguna will begin on March 9, 2025, at 07:45 AM and will end on March 10, 2025, at 07:44 AM. Since Ekadashi is observed on the day when sunrise occurs during the Ekadashi Tithi, Amalaki Ekadashi will be celebrated on March 10, 2025.
Amalaki Ekadashi 2025: Vrat Paran Timing
The Paran (breaking of the fast) for Amalaki Ekadashi will take place on March 11, 2025, between 06:35 AM to 08:13 AM. It is considered auspicious to donate food, clothes, or other essentials to the needy after completing the fast to receive full benefits of the vrat.
Observing Amalaki Ekadashi is believed to destroy sins and grant devotees the blessings of Lord Vishnu. On this day, worshipping the Amla (Indian Gooseberry) tree is considered highly sacred.
