Assam HS Class 12 Result 2025 Declared: Over 3 Lakh Students Get Their Scores Online, Check Stream-Wise Pass Percentage

Guwahati | April 30, 2025 The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has officially declared the results for the HS (Class 12) Board Examinations 2025 today. Students from Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams can now check their scores on the official websites – ahsec.assam.gov.in, assamresult.in.

This year, the results were released a week earlier than last year, bringing both relief and excitement to students and parents alike.

Stream-Wise Pass Percentage

The pass percentages for various streams in 2025 are as follows:

  • Science: 84.88%

  • Commerce: 82.18%

  • Arts: 81.03%

  • Vocational: 68.55%

The Science stream recorded the highest success rate, while Vocational education showed the lowest among all categories.

How to Check Assam HS Class 12 Result 2025

Students can follow these steps to check their results online:

  1. Visit any of the official websites – ahsec.assam.gov.in, assamresult.in.

  2. Click on the link that says ‘Assam HS Result 2025’

  3. Enter your Roll Number and Unique Code as mentioned on your admit card

  4. Click on ‘Submit’ to view your result

  5. Download and take a printout of your result for admission or record-keeping purposes

Students can also check their results through the UPOLOBDHA mobile app, available on the Google Play Store. The app provides digital mark sheets and detailed exam information.

About the Exams

The AHSEC HS Class 12 board exams were held from February 13 to March 17, 2025, in two shifts, across various centres in the state. Practical exams were conducted earlier, from January 29 to February 10.

This year, over 3 lakh students registered for the HS exams, with the Arts stream leading in enrollment at 2,30,091 students, followed by Science (57,724), Commerce (17,869), and Vocational (1,241).

Notably, female students outnumbered male candidates, with 1,62,423 girls appearing for the exams, compared to 1,44,502 boys.

Original Mark Sheets & Supplementary Exams

While the digital result can be used for college applications, students are advised to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools later.

For students who did not clear the exams, AHSEC will be organizing supplementary exams, with dates to be announced shortly.

A Look Back

Last year, the Assam HS Class 12 results were announced on May 9, 2024, and the overall pass percentage stood at 88.64%, up from 84.96% in 2023. While the overall success rate has slightly declined this year, the steady performance across streams shows consistent efforts from both students and educators.
