At exactly 12 noon, the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir became the focal point of the celebrations, marking the auspicious moment of Lord Ram’s birth. The temple witnessed a breathtaking event as sun rays naturally illuminated the idol of Ram Lalla, symbolizing his divine coronation. This was followed by a spectacular aerial abhishek, where drones sprayed holy water from the Sarayu River over the deity—a unique and symbolic offering that lasted for over an hour.
After the divine bath, Lord Ram was adorned with royal attire and precious ornaments as part of his grand shringar (adornment ceremony), witnessed by thousands present inside the temple premises and lakhs watching from afar.
One-Kilometer Long Devotee Queue
The devotion of the faithful was evident as a kilometer-long queue of pilgrims was seen outside the Ram Mandir complex, each waiting patiently for a glimpse (darshan) of Ram Lalla. Ayodhya’s railway station and bus terminals were packed to capacity, resembling festive chaos.
Special Arrangements Amid Heat
In light of the intense summer heat, the Ayodhya administration and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust implemented extensive arrangements to ensure the comfort and safety of devotees. Key pilgrimage routes such as Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Dharma Path, and Ram Janmabhoomi Path were all laid with red carpets to protect bare feet from the scorching ground.
In a touching gesture, drones were used once again to sprinkle Sarayu water over devotees across these routes, offering not just physical relief but also a spiritual refreshment.
Ayodhya Shines as the Spiritual Heart of India
Ram Navami 2025 has truly placed Ayodhya in the global spotlight, showcasing the seamless blend of devotion, tradition, and technology. The event not only reflects India’s cultural richness but also underscores the emotional connection millions have with Lord Ram.
As the diyas flicker into the night and chants continue, Ayodhya today stands as a glowing symbol of faith and unity, proving once again that the spirit of Ram Navami is eternal and ever-bright.
