CSK vs RCB IPL 2025: The 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played on Monday, April 14 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bowl first, inviting the hosts Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to bat.
MS Dhoni, while explaining his decision at the toss, said that the pitch in Lucknow usually gets better for batting in the second innings due to dew. Hence, bowling first gives them a strategic advantage. CSK have made two crucial changes in their playing XI – English all-rounder Jamie Overton and youngster Sheikh Rasheed have been brought into the side in place of Ravichandran Ashwin and Devon Conway.
On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant, who has been leading the team impressively this season, confirmed a major inclusion in the form of Mitchell Marsh. The Australian all-rounder returns to the lineup after missing previous matches. He replaces Himmat Singh in the playing XI. Pant said the team was ready to give their 100% and not let Chennai get an upper hand in the game.
