Dy CM Samrat Choudhary Secures Resounding Victory in Tarapur, Wins by 45,843 Votes

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Samrat Choudhary registered a sweeping victory from the Tarapur Assembly constituency, securing a winning margin that underlined both his personal influence and the party’s growing hold in the region. Choudhary bagged 1,22,480 votes, defeating his nearest rival Arun Kumar of the RJD, who managed 76,637 votes.

The massive 45,843-vote margin not only reaffirmed Choudhary’s strong base in Tarapur but also reflected the BJP’s organisational strength on the ground. The constituency witnessed a high-energy campaign, with Choudhary projecting development, stability, and governance as his key agenda points.

RJD’s Arun Kumar put up a spirited fight but remained far behind throughout the counting process. Meanwhile, Santosh Kumar Singh of the Jan Suraaj Party finished in the third position with 3,898 votes, indicating limited traction for the relatively new political outfit in the region.

Political analysts view this victory as a decisive boost for the BJP in Bihar at a time when the state’s political landscape is witnessing rapid shifts. Choudhary, known for his assertive leadership style and grassroots connect, is expected to utilize this mandate to push forward the party’s broader vision in the state.

For Choudhary, this win serves as both a political endorsement and a personal milestone, further solidifying his stature as one of the key faces of the BJP in Bihar.
