The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has officially announced the results for the Class 12 Board Exams 2025. This year, the overall pass percentage has risen significantly to 90.64%, marking a 5% increase compared to last year’s results. The results were declared at 5 PM at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Education, Porvorim, Goa.
Girls Secure Higher Pass Percentage Than Boys
Girls have once again outshined boys in the board exams, securing a pass percentage of 92.42%, whereas the pass percentage for boys stood at 88.69%.
Commerce Stream Records Highest Pass Percentage
Among all streams, Commerce students performed the best, recording a 93% pass percentage. A majority of students who passed the exam scored in the 60-80% range, with a total of 7,725 students falling into this category.
Meanwhile, the pass percentage for students with special needs was recorded at 83.84%, reflecting the board’s efforts to support inclusive education.
