Haryana CET 2025 Registration Opens for Group C Jobs, Government Reaffirms ‘Mission Merit’ Commitment

Haryana CET 2025 Registration Begins: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially opened the registration window for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025, offering thousands of aspirants a golden opportunity to land government jobs under Group C categories across the state.

Eligible candidates can apply online from May 28 to June 12, while the last date to pay the examination fee is June 14. The examination date will be announced separately. This move is part of the Haryana government’s ongoing push toward transparent and merit-based recruitment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

The CET serves as the preliminary written examination for multiple Group C roles, including junior engineers, clerks, patwaris, excise and taxation inspectors, auditors, assistant managers, and male and female police constables. A separate notification will soon follow for Group D roles, which include entry-level positions such as peons, helpers, cooks, gardeners, and animal attendants.

In a recent social media post, CM Nayab Singh Saini announced,

“The CET is a major step toward empowering Haryana’s youth. With applications open from May 28, this exam ensures job selection will be based on merit only, aligning with our commitment to ‘Bina Kharchi, Bina Parchi’ — no bribery, no recommendations.”

He further emphasized that the BJP government in Haryana is fully dedicated to youth development and job creation, stressing that no backdoor entries or political favors will be entertained in the recruitment process.

Keep Documents Updated and Ready

Applicants are advised to prepare their documentation in advance. Any discrepancies in personal records, such as name, date of birth, or parent’s name, should be corrected in official IDs like Aadhaar and the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) before applying. Incomplete or mismatched records may lead to disqualification during document verification.

One unique aspect of this year’s CET is the three-year validity of the CET score. If a candidate appears for the exam multiple times and scores higher in a later attempt, the updated score will replace the earlier one, and its validity will begin from the date of the new result.

Transparent Recruitment, Stronger Governance

The CET 2025 is seen as a key milestone in the Haryana government’s recruitment reform strategy, replacing the traditional exam process with a single eligibility test for thousands of job seekers.

Aspirants across the state, especially from rural and economically weaker backgrounds, are optimistic about the equal opportunity promise behind this initiative. Many young candidates are hailing this as a chance to prove their merit without the need for expensive coaching or political backing.

As the nation heads into an era of digitized and transparent governance, the Modi-Yogi model continues to place strong emphasis on meritocracy, efficiency, and youth empowerment.
