IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Final Toss Update: The stage is set for the most anticipated clash of the year as India and Pakistan lock horns in the grand finale of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Under the glittering lights of Dubai and the electrifying buzz of packed stands, India won the toss and elected to field first, putting Pakistan in to bat.
Suryakumar Yadav Confident in Chase Plan
India’s stand-in captain Suryakumar Yadav walked out for the toss with Pakistan skipper Salman Agha and confidently chose to bowl first. Explaining the decision, SKY said:
“We are looking to bowl first. It looks like a good wicket and gets better under lights. The groundsmen have done a terrific job. The brand of cricket we have been playing for the last 5-6 games is pretty good and we would like to continue that.”
However, India suffered a last-minute setback as Hardik Pandya was ruled out due to a niggle. As a result, Bumrah, Dube, and Rinku were drafted into the playing XI, replacing Hardik, Arshdeep, and Harshit.
Pakistan Happy to Bat First
Pakistan captain Salman Agha seemed equally pleased with the outcome.
“Definitely happy to bat first. We are excited and looking forward to this game. We haven’t played a perfect game yet — hopefully today is the one.”
He confirmed that Pakistan would field an unchanged XI, showcasing faith in their settled combination.
