A Landmark Defense Deal Strengthens Indo-French Ties
In a historic defense agreement, India and France have finalized a ₹63,000 crore deal to procure 26 Rafale-Marine fighter jets for the Indian Navy. The Rafale-Marine fighter jets belong to the 4.5+ generation category of multirole combat aircraft. Designed for operations from aircraft carriers, these jets will be deployed on India’s indigenously built carrier, INS Vikrant.
