India Post GDS Result 2025 Declared: Check Merit List and Next Steps for Document Verification

The India Post has officially announced the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Result 2025 on its official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Candidates who participated in the recruitment process can now check the merit list to see if they have been shortlisted for the next stage. Through this recruitment process, India Post aims to fill 21,413 GDS vacancies across multiple states. The registration window was open from February 10 to March 3, 2025, allowing eligible candidates to apply for the positions. Additionally, a correction window was available from March 6 to March 8, 2025, for applicants to make necessary modifications in their applications.

Next Steps for Shortlisted Candidates

As per the result notification, the shortlisted candidates must complete the document verification process through the Divisional Head mentioned against their names. The verification process must be completed on or before April 7, 2025.

The final selection of candidates will depend on the physical verification of original documents by the Divisional or Unit Head of the concerned division where the vacancy is notified. Only after successful verification will the candidates be officially recruited.
