Chasing a formidable target of 339 runs, India successfully reached 341/5 in 48.3 overs, with 9 balls to spare, to book their place in the final against South Africa.​

Australia set a daunting target after putting up a massive total of 338 runs in 49.5 overs. The innings was led by a brilliant century from Phoebe Litchfield (119 off 93 balls), supported by Ellyse Perry’s 77 and a powerful late surge from Ashleigh Gardner (63 off 45 balls). Despite early breakthroughs by India’s bowlers, including 2 wickets each from Nallapureddy Charani and Deepti Sharma, Australia’s batting depth kept the scoreboard ticking.​
