Mumbai, May 5, 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially declared the HSC (Class 12th) exam results for 2025. Students who appeared for the exams can check and download their marksheets starting after 1 PM today, from the official websites:

Follow these simple steps to access your HSC Class 12 Result 2025:
Visit the official website: mahresult.nic.in.
On the homepage, click the ‘Maharashtra HSC result 2025’ link.
Enter your roll number and mother’s name as mentioned on your HSC Class 12 hall ticket.
Click ‘View Result’ to submit.
Your HSC result will appear on the screen.
Download and take a printout or screenshot for your reference.
Important Information for Students
The marksheet available online is provisional. Students can collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. The original copies will be sent directly to schools by the board.
In case a student fails to achieve the minimum qualifying marks, the re-examination and grade improvement exams will be announced by the MSBSHSE board shortly.
Top Performers and Districts
This year, Konkan district continues its streak as the top performer among all Maharashtra districts. In 2024, Konkan had topped with a pass percentage of 97.82% in the Science stream. In other streams, Commerce followed with 92.18%, while Arts had a pass percentage of 85.88%.
Girls outperformed boys this year as well, with a pass percentage of 95.44%, compared to 91.60% for boys.
Exam Overview
The MSBSHSE HSC exams for 2025 were conducted from February 11 to March 11. Last year, the board had declared the 2024 results on May 21, with an overall pass percentage of 93.37%. The performance in 2024 showed an improvement from 2023, where the pass percentage had decreased.
Notable students like Tanisha Bormanikar from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar topped the 2024 exams with a perfect score of 600 out of 600 (after receiving 18 marks from the sports quota).
