PM Internship Scheme 2025: Registration Closes on March 12, Know Application Process, Financial Assistance and Benefits

The registration for the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme 2025 will close on March 12, 2025. Launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, this initiative offers Indian youth a 12-month internship designed to provide valuable work experience and skill development opportunities.

Financial Assistance and Benefits

Each intern will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, along with a one-time financial grant of Rs 6,000 upon joining. Additionally, interns will be covered under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, with the government covering the premium costs.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Age: Between 21 and 24 years as of the application deadline.
  • Education: Must have completed at least secondary education (Class 10), higher secondary education (Class 12), or hold a diploma/degree such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, etc.
  • Employment Status: Applicants should not be engaged in full-time employment or full-time education (candidates in online or distance learning programs are eligible).
