Over 14 Lakh Students Await Results
This year, over 14 lakh students appeared for the RBSE 5th Board Examination, held from April 7 to April 17, 2025. Compared to 2024, when exams were conducted from April 30 to May 4, the schedule was slightly earlier.
In 2024, the board recorded a pass percentage of 97.06%, with girls outperforming boys. While girls recorded a pass rate of 97.23%, boys were slightly behind at 96.89%. A total of 13.93 lakh students cleared the Class 5 exam last year.
RBSE 5th Result 2025: What’s New This Year?
- The result was declared a day later than in 2024, which saw the release on May 29.
- This year also marks an increase in reliance on digital tools and SMS for result access, due to heavy traffic on government portals.
Parents Demand Better Infrastructure
Soon after the website went down, several parents took to social media and WhatsApp groups to express concerns over repeated server crashes every year. Many suggested the board should scale up server capacity or explore alternate platforms to ensure seamless access to results.
While the excitement around the results is understandable, the website crash has once again highlighted the urgent need for robust digital infrastructure. Until the official portals resume normal functioning, the SMS method remains the most reliable way for students to check their performance in the RBSE Class 5 Exam 2025.
