New Delhi | April 22, 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 on April 22, 2025. Shakti Dubey has secured the top rank, emerging as the All India Rank (AIR) 1 holder in one of the most prestigious and competitive exams in India.
Harshita Goyal secured the second position, while Dongre Archit Parag stood third, as per the official merit list published on the UPSC website.
Total 1,009 Candidates Selected for Elite Civil Services
A total of 1,009 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various elite civil services, including:
- Indian Administrative Service (IAS)
- Indian Foreign Service (IFS)
- Indian Police Service (IPS)

UPSC CSE 2024 Exam Overview
The Civil Services Examination 2024 was conducted in three phases:
- Preliminary Examination: Held in June 2024
- Main Examination: Conducted on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, in two shifts—
- Morning: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Afternoon: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
- Personality Test/Interview: Conducted in early 2025
The results of the Main Examination were declared on December 9, 2024, and qualified candidates were then called for interviews and document verification.
